Wow! Tacos were amazing!!! I felt like I was at my family members home. Everything was fresh and homemade. Al pastor was tender . Carnitas were tendering!!!!

I don't know who Alex is but I'd love to give him a hug. Upon arrival to California, I was HANKERING for some cheap, delicious, and authentic tacos. These hit the spot and other spots I didn't know existed. Tacos were generously filled and paired nicely with the salsas from the salsa bar. My favorite was the creamy avocado one, coulda just drank that like nectar. The vibes were on point with music, neon lights, and glass soda bottles. Bless the poor cashier that had to negotiate my degrading high school Spanish. Evidently I wasn't doing too well as she just started speaking English to me. "Un al pastor por favor."

My go to Mexican spot. There is no fat on their carne asada. I usually opt not to get the beans in their tacos. They don't always have all the meat choices advertised on their overhead menu board but they always have a good selection of meats. This place is tiny and parking is very limited. Their salsa bar is also pretty good. Their burritos are very big and yummy.

Tacos are Great. The spicy cucumbers are Awesome. Always friendly staff. Been going here since it opened. Always consistent quality!!

Maybe I lucked out by being one of two people in there but food only took maybe 5 mins. I'm not even normally a street taco guy myself but I thought these were delicious! I normally don't enjoy corn tortillas this much either. Loved the salsa bar. Admittedly speaking Spanish helps here but you'll get by. Tacos had beans cilantro and onions. Portions were exactly what I'd expect for TJ Street style tacos. El pastor was my favorite.

Limited parking and indoor seating but it's worth the visit. Delicious Tacos and there is a salsa bar that is self serve but definitely ask for onion/chilis from the back. A little pricy but the tacos are filling and delicious. Service is quick during a rush.

Food was authentic and delicious. Service was helpful. Ambiance was a Mom-n'-Pop taco stand. We ordered tacos: cabeza, carnitas, birria and al pastor. Will definitely order cabeza and carnitas again. Also ordered cabeza torta and asada torta; side of grilled onions and jalapeños. Salsa is delicious too, various to choose from. Private parking lot but limited. Come when lunch crowd subsides. Will have this on our rotation when we visit San Marcos.

Tacos Alex is a nice little family run taco shop. Very small inside, but they have some seating on the outside. They offer a nice simple menu. I got two lengua and two birria tacos. You have the choice of size.. street size or reg. The order came out quick. The lengua tacos were so flavorful and cooked perfectly. The birria (beef) were also good and came with nice size portion. The tacos come with beans which is a added touch. Salsa has a variety of salsa's from mild to HOT. Added bonus is their grilled onions and peppers at no charge. The girl that took out our was also very friendly. If I'm in the area again, i will definitely return. I heard they get super busy, so be prepared to wait during peak times.
